Alpine County Dial-A-Ride Program offers rides for the general public and persons needing transportation assistance. The program is provided by Alpine County Community Development and operates Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 am - 5 pm (please note there are no pickups after 4:30 pm).

Douglas Area Rapid Transit offers Dial-a-Ride transportation for seniors, special needs, and the general public in the Carson Valley area Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call (775) 783-6456 to schedule a ride.

Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA) is the primary provider of public bus services throughout Inyo and Mono Counties, and the sole provider of interregional public transportation for the entire Eastern Sierra Region. From Hwy 395 in Carson Valley, and only by reservation, ESTA can provide connections north to Reno or south to Lone Pine. Call (800) 922-1930 for more information.
