The Calaveras County SSTAC meets on an as-needed basis during the year to review information on possible unmet transit needs as part of the unmet transit needs process. Members and alternates of SSTAC are appointed by the Calaveras Council of Governments according to Section 99238 of the TDA Statutes and California Code of Regulations. The statute indicates a minimum of nine (9) members including:

Any qualified person who lives or works in Calaveras County may apply for membership on the Committee., call 745-2094 for information regarding the next SSTAC meeting. Also, the Volunteer Center of Calaveras volunteers help and assist many Calaveras County residents in finding rides to medical and other social services.
